- Develop and maintain detailed BIM models using relevant discipline‑specific software and project standards.
- Prepare accurate plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, shop drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, specifications, design documents, and project requirements.
- Coordinate models across multiple disciplines and identify potential clashes, inconsistencies, and constructability issues.
- Support clash detection, model reviews, coordination meetings, and the timely resolution of technical issues.
- Update models and drawings based on design revisions, review comments, site conditions, and approved changes.
- Ensure models contain accurate geometry, parameters, metadata, and level of detail appropriate to each project stage.
- Follow project‑specific BIM execution plans, modelling standards, naming conventions, document control procedures, and quality requirements.
- Produce quantity take‑offs, material schedules, equipment schedules, and other model‑based information when required.
- Collaborate with design and project teams to improve model coordination, information exchange, and project workflows.
- Assist with the preparation of as‑built models and handover documentation based on verified construction information.
- Maintain organized model files, linked references, families, components, and related project documentation.
- Conduct regular quality checks to verify model accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with project standards.
- Provide technical support to project teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM processes and modelling practices.
Key Requirements
- Diploma, degree, or relevant technical qualification in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
- Professional experience as a BIM Modeller, CAD Technician, Design Technician, or similar role within the architecture, engineering, construction, or infrastructure sector.
- Proficiency in relevant BIM and CAD software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Tekla Structures, or equivalent tools, depending on project discipline.
- Strong understanding of BIM principles, 3D modelling workflows, drawing production, model coordination, and construction documentation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, design information, and engineering documentation accurately.
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection processes.
- Familiarity with BIM standards, information management procedures, model naming conventions, and document control practices.
- Good understanding of construction methods, building systems, materials, and technical detailing.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in modelling and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a project‑driven environment.

- Experience creating or managing Revit families, templates, shared parameters, and project standards.
- Understanding of BIM deliverables across different project stages, including design, construction, coordination, and handover.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 principles or other recognized BIM information management standards.
- Experience supporting site teams, fabrication teams, quantity surveyors, or construction planning activities.
- Knowledge of rendering, visualization, point‑cloud modelling, or digital construction workflows is an advantage.
