Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking a Structural BIM Modeller to develop, coordinate, and maintain accurate 3D structural models and construction docs using BIM software. You will collaborate with structural engineers, architects, MEP teams, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality BIM deliverables across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Civil Engineering with BIM exposure.
• Experience using Revit for structural modeling and drawings.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination meetings and clash detection.

• Develop 3D structural BIM models using Revit and other BIM platforms.
• Prepare structural general arrangement, reinforcement, and shop drawings.
• Generate plans, elevations, sections, schedules and documentation from BIM models.
• Coordinate structural models with architecture and MEP disciplines.
• Identify and resolve clashes using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Support design and construction teams with BIM information.

Job Description

The Structural BIM Modeller is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining accurate 3D structural models and construction documentation using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. The role involves collaboration with structural engineers, architects, MEP disciplines, and project stakeholders to ensure high-quality BIM deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Modeling & Documentation

• Develop detailed 3D structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit and other BIM platforms.
• Prepare structural general arrangement drawings, reinforcement drawings, and shop drawings.
• Generate plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and detailed construction documentation from BIM models.
• Ensure model accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Participate in multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings.
• Identifyand resolve clashes using Navisworks or similar coordination tools.
• Support design and construction teams with BIM-related information.

Standards & Quality Control

• Adhere to company BIM standards, project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and client requirements.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure model integrity and compliance with LOD requirements.
• Maintain model organization, naming conventions, and file management procedures.

Project Support

• Assistengineers in preparing design documentation and quantity take-offs.
• Support construction teams with model-based information and revisions.
• Update models based on design changes and site feedback.
• Extractandvalidatequantities from BIM models asrequired.
