Job summary

Uppteam is seeking a Structural BIM Engineer to develop precise 3D BIM models using Revit Structure on civil engineering projects. You will produce detailed drawings and documentation, coordinate models with multiple disciplines, and ensure BIM standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on BIM experience, with strong English communication and teamwork skills, and familiarity with US practices is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in structural BIM modeling using Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and detailed 3D structural BIM models using Revit based on structural designs, drawings, sketches, and engineering inputs.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, documentation, and construction-ready deliverables.
• Coordinate structural models and drawings with project requirements and other disciplines.
• Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established BIM standards and workflows.
• Review and incorporate design changes and project revisions efficiently.
• Support the team in maintaining high-quality structural modeling and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Experience & Background

• Required: 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in structural BIM modeling using Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Preferred: Experience working on US-based structural engineering or construction projects, with a basic understanding of US codes, standards, and drawing practices.
• Preferred: Knowledge of light gauge steel (LGS) framing, structural steel design, or steel detailing is an added advantage.

Software Proficiency

• Required: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure and Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu is an advantage.
