Job summary

Khatib & Alami in Bengaluru, India is seeking a BIM Engineer – Structural Engineering to develop and manage structural BIM models, prepare drawings, and support cross-disciplinary design coordination.

The role requires Revit proficiency, a solid understanding of structural design and detailing, and the ability to guide junior modelers while ensuring model accuracy and standards. You will participate in clash detection reviews and assist in BIM execution plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in structural BIM modelling.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and detailing.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

The BIM Engineer – Structural Engineering will be responsible for developing and managing structural BIM models, preparing detailed drawings, and supporting design coordination across disciplines. This role includes ensuring BIM standards compliance, participating in clash detection reviews, and assisting structural engineers with analysis and documentation. The ideal candidate is proficient in Revit, knowledgeable in structural design and detailing, and capable of providing technical support to junior modelers while maintaining accuracy and consistency in deliverables.

• Develop and manage structural BIM models using software like Revit.
