Job summary

FIST Engineering Solution is seeking an experienced BIM Manager – MEP to lead BIM planning, coordination, implementation, and delivery for MEP projects in India. The ideal candidate will drive 4D/5D BIM simulation, ensure LOD 400/500 compliance, and oversee Revit MEP and Navisworks-based coordination from design through construction and handover.

The role requires hands-on leadership, deep BIM domain knowledge, and a track record of delivering complex projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of BIM experience in MEP projects.
• Strong expertise in Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage.
• Hands-on experience in 4D and 5D BIM simulation.
• Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Knowledge of BEP, ISO 19650 and CDE workflows.
• Experience with GCC/Middle East or Australian projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM teams across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC disciplines.
• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEP), BIM standards, workflows, and project protocols.
• Manage BIM deliverables in accordance with project requirements, LOD standards, and client specifications.
• Oversee Revit MEP modeling, coordination, documentation, and model development.
• Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks Manage.
• Ensure models meet LOD 400 and LOD 500 requirements.
• Develop and manage 4D construction simulations by linking BIM models with project schedules.
• Develop and manage 5D BIM workflows and simulations for quantity take-off, cost planning, and cost integration.
• Have hands-on experience with Synchro 4D/5D or equivalent BIM simulation software.
• Coordinate model-based construction sequencing, progress visualization, and schedule simulation.
• Support quantity extraction, cost estimation, and model-based cost management.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
• Review model quality, accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
• Manage Revit Family Creation and Family Management requirements.
• Review shop drawings, coordinated models, BIM deliverables, and construction documentation.
• Identify BIM-related risks and technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Mentor and manage BIM Coordinators, BIM Engineers, and BIM Modelers.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of BIM, 4D, and 5D outputs.

• Strong experience with Synchro 4D/5D or equivalent 4D/5D simulation platforms.
• Proven experience in construction sequencing, schedule simulation, quantity take-off, and cost integration.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC BIM workflows.
• Strong understanding of LOD 300, LOD 400, and LOD 500.
• Expertise in BIM coordination, clash detection, model review, and quality control.
• Strong knowledge of Revit Family Creation and Family Management.
• Good understanding of BIM standards, BEP, ISO 19650 principles, and CDE workflows.
• Experience working on GCC/Middle East and/or Australian projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360 is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or a related engineering discipline.
