Job summary

Eurosia Bim Services seeks a BIM Coordinator to manage BIM datasets and daily workflows for MEP projects. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing and firefighting systems, prepare RFIs, and ensure deliverables meet company quality standards.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering, strong communication, and 4+ years in MEP BIM with Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks, plus parametric family creation. On-site work in India and team leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Electrical/Mechanical discipline; Diploma not acceptable.
• Strong communication skills and team coordination required.
• Experience with BIM coordination, MEP design concepts, and project workflows.
• Proficient with Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP and Navisworks.
• Experience in creating parametric Revit families is mandatory.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project setup.
• Responsible for all works related to Mechanical, Electrical, plumbing, and firefighting system.
• Preparation and review of RFI and response of RFI, get all the information required for completing the tasks/Project.
• Responsible for the final level of Quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all the deliverables.
• Induct and Conduct training for the team/Interns / Management and other support systems.
• Preparation of timesheets and Quotations for the client.
• Perform clash detection in a proactive manner to ensure BIM Models are well coordinated
• Perform, manage, and track design change and manage BIM revision log
• If required, do the design calculations for any missing information and complete the works if the client cant provide the details. Proper communication is also a key to it.
• Design, develop and enforce modelling protocol and standards with BIM Manager
• Guide the Modelling team on the design side and constructability of the models.
• Propose alternative BIM solutions to improve collaboration and productivity across projects
• Review of key milestone deliverables for completion in relation to the quality of design, implementation, and coordination of design changes
• Complete Client management including Online offline, verbal, and written communication and engagement.
• Ensure the Team is following the ISO 9001:2015 standards

Associated tasks

• Train and oversee the day-to-day activities of the BIM engineers to ensure BIM standards are maintained in the creation of the Revit model.
• Manage the implementation of supporting software for BIM and set project standards and coordinate with customers.
• Resource planning and efficient utilization of resources.
• Conduct CV review and recommendation of the right candidate, then conduct interviews, tool tests, etc. to support sourcing of the right type of resources for the organization.
• 3rd party Vendor management, vendor assessment, and development.
• Lead the development of all types of Revit families.
• Linking BIM to the project Construction Administration Phase for submittals, construction models, shop drawings, and schedules.
• As and when required visit our other offices in India for short durations.
• Ensure compliance of the Eurosias policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO Standards. Preparation of presentations, videos and other documents for sales team and management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree in relevant discipline (Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Mechanical). Diploma candidates need not apply.
• Excellent communication Skills.
• 4+ years of experience in MEP design concepts, practices, & procedures
• 4+ experience with Autodesk Revit MEP, Autocad MEP and Naviswork is mandatory
• Experience in drawing creation/documentation
• Experience in parametric Revit family creation is mandatory
• Must be willing to work in a construction environment as required.
• Exposure to 4D / 5D BIM related activities is desirable.
• Strong understanding of technologies, planning and management, commissioning process, drafting standards, etc.
• Exposure to International standard projects is desirable.
• Experience in team handling.
