Job summary

Our client in Chennai is seeking a Senior BIM Engineer - MEP with a strong background in BIM design, drafting, and modelling. Mandatory hands-on experience in fire protection and plumbing systems and solid HVAC knowledge are required to deliver coordinated MEP drawings and clash-free BIM models.

You will develop and maintain BIM models, prepare 2D drawings, and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems across design and site teams to ensure project quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of relevant MEP experience with strong BIM exposure.
• Hands-on experience in BIM design, drafting, and modelling.
• Mandatory experience in Fire Protection Systems and Plumbing Systems.
• Good working knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination and engineering drawings.
• Notice period of 30 days or less is preferred.

• Ensure drawings and models meet required quality and project standards.
• Support project teams with technical BIM and MEP coordination requirements.
