Responsibilities

• Review structural models and drawings at each stage against the EIR, BEP and company BIM standards.
• Verify naming, classification and Level of Information Need for structural elements, grids and levels.
• Run clash and coordination checks between structure and architecture/MEP; raise and track issues in BCF.
• Coordinate openings, sleeves and penetrations for MEP services before structural drawings are issued.
• Extract and check concrete, reinforcement and steel quantities to support cost reviews.
• Review contractor shop drawings and fabrication models against approved design models.
• Manage structural content and submissions in the CDE, including review status and approvals.
• Check as-built structural models and report gaps to the BIM Manager.

Reports to: BIM Manager Hyderabad, India Full-time

Role purpose

Assure the structural information that consultants and contractors deliver on the company's projects. The role checks structural models against the company's standards and EIR, and makes sure they coordinate with architecture and MEP and support reliable quantities.

Key responsibilities

• Review structural models and drawings at each stage against the EIR, BEP and company BIM standards.
• Verify naming, classification and Level of Information Need for structural elements, grids and levels.
• Run clash and coordination checks between structure and architecture/MEP; raise and track issues in BCF.

Requirements

Essential

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• [7-8] years in AEC, including [4+] years in structural BIM modelling or coordination.
• BIM experience on large GCC projects, including high-rise or podium structures.
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and local authority BIM submission requirements.
• Revit (Structure), Navisworks or Solibri, IFC, and a major CDE (e.g. ACC).

Desirable:

Tekla Structures; familiarity with ETABS or SAP2000 outputs; rebar detailing; Dynamo;

Key competencies

Checks detail methodically and reports issues clearly to consultants and contractors. Works constructively with the BIM Manager and project teams to close issues on time.
