Job summary

Bimedge, located in Odisha, India, is looking for experienced Drafters to prepare working drawings for diverse projects. Candidates are expected to adeptly create digital models using software and collaborate closely with the Design Team.

The ideal applicant holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, has at least 5 years of experience, and is proficient in tools like REVIT and AutoCAD. Work will involve both architecture and interior design projects.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of working/teaching experience in the related field is required.
• Familiar with planning guidelines and technical requirements is an advantage.
• Candidate must be proactive, hardworking and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Create architectural and interior drawings based on sketches and specifications.
• Produce design presentations using Keynote/PowerPoint.
• Train and mentor teams in creating digital models.

Job Function:

Responsible for the preparation of working drawings for various projects using software in all the Design phases/aspects in coordination with the Design Team. Use specialized software to create digital models of buildings & other structures.

Job Qualifications:

• Experienced Drafters for Schematic/ Design Development stage production for both Architecture and Interior Design
• Familiar with planning guidelines, various technical requirements & authority submission an advantage
• Flexible and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Proactive, Hardworking and strict adherence to meeting deadlines
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Proficient using REVIT/ArchiCAD, Autocad, Photoshop
• Knowledge of Tekla, use of model checking tools will be an advantage
• At least 5 Years of working/teaching experience in the related field is required for this position

Job Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of Drawings and Presentations:
   • Create architectural and interior drawings based on sketches, building specifications and calculations.
   • Produces design presentations (Keynote/ Powerpoint)
   • Produces 2D, 3D and working drawings
   • Create digital models of buildings & other structures
   • Train & mentor own & client's team for creating digital models
2. Design Solutions:
   • Assists in the development in all phases of design
   • Assists in the preparation of technical solutions to make the design feasible
   • Resolves minor design issues
3. Communication:
   • Establishes and maintains a professional and effective lines of communication with the superior and clients
   • Communicates and listens in an appropriate and professional manner
