Job summary

Camellia Staffing is seeking a BIM Architect for our Ahmedabad hub to develop and coordinate detailed Building Information Models using Autodesk Revit. You will work with our production team and international clients to translate design intent into accurate, data-rich models and construction-ready documentation.

The role requires 1–4 years of BIM experience, strong Revit skills, and a solid understanding of drafting standards. The position is full-time and based in Ahmedabad, working from office.

Qualifications

• B.Arch is mandatory for consideration.
• 1–4 years of BIM modeling or architectural coordination experience.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit for architectural modeling.
• Navisworks knowledge for clash detection and coordination.
• Knowledge of international drafting standards and design principles.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

As a BIM Architect with our client, the candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing detailed Building Information Models using Autodesk Revit. The role involves working closely with our client's internal production team and international clients to translate design intent into accurate, data-rich models and construction-ready documentation. This position requires a strong architectural background, technical proficiency in BIM software, and the ability to deliver high-quality outputs within strict project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and manage Architectural BIM models (LOD 100 to LOD 500) using Autodesk Revit for our client's international projects.
• Create accurate construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and detailed shop drawings.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks, resolving conflicts across architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Collaborate remotely with our client's international project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure model accuracy and adherence to design intent.
• Implement and follow global BIM standards (AIA, ISO, or client-specific protocols) for naming conventions, file management, and data integrity.
• Respond to client RFIs (Requests for Information) and incorporate design changes and revisions into the model efficiently.
• Conduct regular internal quality checks to ensure models are clash-free, coordinated, and compliant with project specifications.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring on-time digital delivery.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

• B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) — This is a mandatory requirement. Candidates without B.Arch will not be considered.
• 1 to 4 years of professional experience in BIM modeling, architectural drafting, or coordination (preferably in an outsourcing or project consultancy environment).
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architectural modeling, families, schedules, and worksharing).
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks (clash detection, reviewing, and coordination).
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, construction methodologies, and international drafting standards.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to interact effectively with global clients and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to read, interpret, and model from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings with high accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering clash-free, coordinated outputs.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Rhino.
• Experience working on US, UK, or Middle Eastern projects.
