We are seeking an experienced Assistant BIM Coordinator – Architecture to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) with a strong focus on architectural projects.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM models for architectural projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure BIM models meet project requirements and standards.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews to identify and resolve model conflicts.
• Assist in preparing design, construction drawings, and documentation from BIM models.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and other BIM-related documentation.
• Generate quantity take-offs and BOQs from BIM models.
• Support the implementation of BIM processes, standards, and workflows.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on BIM tools and best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate BIM-related activities.
• Assist in quality control to ensure accuracy and consistency of models and deliverables.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance BIM efficiency and workflows.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in BIM for architectural projects.
• Proficiency in BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methodologies.
• Experience in clash detection and coordination.
• Knowledge of BIM standards such as BEP, COBie, and LOD.
• Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD and SketchUp is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• BIM certifications will be an added advantage.
