Billing Engineer – Transmission Line & Substation
Contract: FTC – 1 Year
PROJECT DETAILS
Transmission Line (TL) – 765 kV, 250 km (3 EPC Packages)
Project involves 765 kV Double Circuit (D/C) Transmission Line of 250 km.
Route: Kutch 765/400 kV Z2-MPSS to 765/400 kV Load Pooling Substation (LPSS).
Project executed through 3 EPC contractors.
Scope includes foundation works, tower erection, stringing, insulators, ROW, conductor handling, and progress monitoring.
Substation (SS) – 400 kV and 765 kV Pooling Stations
Power integration from multiple 400 kV Sub-Pooling Stations (SPSS).
Scope includes GIS/AIS bays, transformers, reactors, switchgear, cabling, civil foundations, trenches, control systems, and BOP works.
High-volume billing involving civil and electrical disciplines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Billing and Measurement
- Prepare and verify Measurement Books (MB).
- Validate contractor RA bills, final bills, variation claims, and extra item proposals.
- Conduct joint measurements for Transmission Line and Substation works.
- Ensure measurements match BOQ, drawings, and contract terms.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain billing documents, reconciliation statements, and progress records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Submit all billing documents to client and internal teams on time.
Coordination and Compliance
- Coordinate with EPC contractors and site teams for data verification.
- Resolve measurement discrepancies through joint site checks.
- Support audits and billing review processes.
- Reconcile material issued vs. consumed.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education: BE or Diploma in Civil or Electrical
- Experience: 12 to 15 years
- Experience in 400 kV or 765 kV Transmission Line or Substation projects preferred.
