Job summary

Job Connect is seeking an Experienced Billing & Estimation Civil Engineer for our Pune site. The role focuses on reading drawings, site execution, and estimation to ensure accurate RA bills and timely client approvals.

The candidate will manage material reconciliation, payments, and maintain ISO 9001 documentation while coordinating with planning engineers and accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience reading drawings and preparing project estimates.
• Ability to read and interpret plans for civil works.
• Familiarity with billing and measurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Preparing RA Bills for the Projects (Client and Subcontractor bills) on Monthly basis.
• Getting Approval from the Client.
• Providing billing related information/documents to client as and when required.
• Arithmetic & technical checking of all bills (civil, carpentry, aluminum windows, finishing, interior, infrastructure, plumbing, firefighting, electrical) and invoices.
• Site visits for random physical checking of bills.
• Material reconciliation for steel, cement and other materials; recoveries for wastage.
• Debit notes to recover rework/faulty work as per site recommendation.
• Parking of Bill in SAP system.
• Advance adjustment as per contract terms and recording accordingly.
• Preparing Certificate of Payment and forwarding to accounts.

Responsibilities

• Preparing RA Bills for the Projects (Client and Subcontractor bills) on Monthly basis.
• Getting Approval from the Client.
• Providing billing related information/documents to client as and when required.
• Arithmetic & technical checking of all bills i.e. Civil, Carpentry, Aluminum Windows , Finishing, Interior bills, Infrastructure, Plumbing, Firefighting, Electrical work, consultants, & material Invoices etc.
• Site Visits: - Random Physical checking of bills at site case to case.
• Material Reconciliation: - To check theoretical consumption of steel, cement & other material supplied free of cost to the contractor and make recovery in case of excess Consumption & wastage.
• Debit Note: - To ensure recovery against the rework / faulty work from the contractors as per recommendation from site.
• Parking of Bill in SAP system.
• Advance Adjustment: - Adjusting Advances on pro rata basis as per the contract terms& keeping the record of the same.
• Preparing Certificate of Payment.
• Getting the Bill authorized and forwarding the same to accounts for payments.
• Intimating Planning Engineers regarding amendments in Work orders.
• Maintaining of all important documentation as per IS0 9001 Standards.
• Other Duties specified by Site In-charge or In-charge in Commend.
