Job summary

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) seeks an experienced Billing Engineer for high-rise residential/commercial projects in Mumbai. You will handle client and subcontractor billing, BOQ management and rate analysis, ensuring accurate cost control and timely settlement of final accounts.

The role requires 6–8 years in construction billing, strong Excel and AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with SAP/ERP.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant experience in construction/building projects.
• Mandatory experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in Client Billing and Subcontractor Billing.
• Good knowledge of BOQ, Quantity Surveying and Rate Analysis.
• Knowledge of RCC, structural and finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience in Material Reconciliation and Quantity Reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify Client RA Bills, Subcontractor Bills and Final Bills.
• Carry out quantity take-offs from BOQ, approved drawings and actual site measurements.
• Prepare measurement sheets, quantity abstracts and billing statements.
• Verify subcontractor bills against work orders, BOQ, approved rates and actual execution.
• Prepare and review BOQ, rate analysis, extra items and deviation/variation statements.
• Monitor quantities executed against BOQ and identify deviations.
• Prepare Material Reconciliation Statements (MRS) for steel, cement, RMC and other major materials.
• Coordinate with the Project, Execution, Planning, Procurement, QS and Accounts teams for timely billing.
• Check civil, RCC and finishing work measurements and ensure accurate billing.
• Maintain billing records, trackers and project MIS.
• Support cost monitoring and control at project level.
• Assist in preparation and settlement of final accounts and subcontractor claims.
• Ensure billing is carried out in accordance with contractual terms, approved drawings, specifications and company procedures.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Billing Engineer with 6–8 years of relevant experience in high-rise residential/commercial building projects. The incumbent will be responsible for quantity measurement, client and subcontractor billing, BOQ management, rate analysis, reconciliation and billing-related cost control.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Candidates currently working with reputed EPC, or Construction companies and having strong experience in high-rise building projects at Mumbai location will be preferred.

Note:

Candidates with predominantly road, highway, transmission line or other infrastructure billing experience without building/high-rise experience will not be suitable for this position.
