Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Civil Quantity Surveyor to lead BOQ preparation, rate analysis and cost control for construction projects in India. The role requires a full-time civil engineering graduate with at least 10 years of experience, strong billing and site management skills, and proficiency in AutoCAD and ERP systems.

You will coordinate with contractors and vendors, prepare interim certificates, and generate MIS reports.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering graduate (BE/BTech) with Civil specialization.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in billing, planning, quantity surveying, and site management.

Responsibilities

• BoQ preparation, rate analysis and quantity surveying.
• Prepare interim payment certificates and certify subcontractor bills.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors; material purchasing and vendor qualification.
• Generate client billing and take daily measurements; document work.
• Site visits and cost control; coordinate with contractors.
• Coordinate and monitor a team of contractor works.
• Review drawings in AutoCAD and derive quantities; liaise with design team.
• Prepare MIS reports on time.

Job Description

Bill of Quantities (B.O.Q) preparation & analysis, Rate Analysis, quantity

surveying, Finalization & Negotiation with Contractors & Vendors,

Preparation of interim payment certificates, certifying Subcontractor’s

Bills, Calculating the quantity of constituent materials from the drawings

in advance to facilitate the purchasing of items

• Generation of client bill as per required formats
• Preparing client billing including taking daily measurement of works. documentation required for the job.
• Site visits, Cost Control of the project and Coordination with contractor
• Coordinate and monitor a team of contractor works
• Calculating the quantities as per the drawings.
• Reconciliation between estimated quantity and contractor's billed quantity.
• Finalizing project cost analysis.
• Responsible for reviewing drawings in AUTO CADD and workout Quantities from AutoCAD drawings. Must be able to coordinate all AUTO CADD drawings received from design team & various consultants.
• Purchasing of materials required for construction by coordinating with suppliers / vendors / contractors, obtaining quotes, technically qualifying the specifications, finalizing vendors.
• Prepare regular MIS reports on time
