Job Title: Billing & QS Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Billing Preparation: Review bills of quantities (BOQ) and estimates for construction projects, including Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), civil structures, and steel structures, utilizing quantity surveying techniques.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and evaluation of materials, labor, and equipment required for construction activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project budgets.
• Quantity Surveying: Perform detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy in estimating quantities of materials and resources needed.
• Vendor Prequalification: Assist in vendor prequalification processes by evaluating vendor capabilities, technical qualifications, and financial stability to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Engineering Qualifications: Assess engineering qualifications of subcontractors and vendors to verify their suitability for project tasks and ensure alignment with project specifications and standards.
• IS Codes Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant Indian Standards (IS) codes and regulations in all billing activities, incorporating necessary code requirements into billing documentation.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of billing documents, contracts, purchase orders, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in billing and quantity surveying for construction projects, with expertise in PEB, civil structures, and steel structures.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying techniques and practices, including quantity take-offs and cost estimation methods.
• Familiarity with vendor prequalification processes and evaluation criteria.
• Understanding of engineering qualifications and requirements for subcontractors and vendors in construction projects.
• Proficiency in using billing software and MS Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant Indian Standards (IS) codes governing construction activities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
