Role Description This full-time Billing Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Saket, New Delhi, with some flexibility for work from home. The Billing Engineer will prepare and verify bills for construction projects, ensuring accurate quantities, rates, and contractual compliance. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing BOQs, performing quantity take-offs from drawings, conducting rate analysis, and coordinating with site engineers and project managers to validate work done. The role also involves maintaining and updating billing records in relevant billing systems, tracking project costs, and supporting invoicing and payment follow-ups. The Billing Engineer will contribute to reports for management, assist in resolving billing discrepancies, and help improve billing processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation skills, including quantity take-offs from drawings and site measurements.
• Candidates should have hands‑on experience with Billing Systems, project billing workflows, and documentation for contractors, clients, and consultants.
• Candidates should demonstrate solid Rate Analysis and cost estimation skills for materials, labor, and activities.
• Candidates should have well-developed Analytical Skills for validating quantities, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring data accuracy.
• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field are preferred.
• Knowledge of construction standards, contracts, and basic taxation/GST related to construction billing is beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other office tools, with the ability to create and manage detailed billing reports, is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with site teams, vendors, and clients are important.
• Prior experience in construction billing or quantity surveying for building and infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
