Job Overview
BDM – Security will be responsible for achieving the annual quota of revenue and gross profit for the region they are responsible for. The role requires strong knowledge of IT security, is highly customer focused, challenging, and result‑oriented, and demands willingness to travel and work in a growing organization.
About You
- Minimum of 6–10 years of experience selling IT security products, solutions & services.
- Strong background working with security OEMs.
- Deep understanding of security products & solutions.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Experience working with large teams and a good team player.
- Knowledge of the information security market, key players, and market trends.
- Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and geographical focus as the company grows.
What You’ll Do
- Achieve annual quota of revenue & GP for the assigned region.
- Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Work with the Account Management Team to build the business in the assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with OEMs & distributors for deal registration and preferential pricing.
- Create RFPs with customers and sell products, solutions & services.
- Hold monthly reviews with focused OEMs on business development & new initiatives.
- Promote focused OEM products & solutions to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices & gross profits.
- Participate in customer POCs and ensure successful criteria are met.
- Plan and execute new marketing initiatives to build the business.
- Upsell & cross‑sell in existing accounts.
- Identify new accounts for focused OEM products & solutions.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
- Train personnel and help team members develop their skills.
