Job Description: Business Development Executive (BDE) Admission Center

Location: Mulund - Mumbai
About the role
The Telecaller will be responsible for handling both outbound and inbound calls to support student enquiries and drive enrolments. The role involves engaging with prospective students, providing accurate information about courses and services, and converting leads into admissions.
This position is part of a newly established team aimed at building and strengthening our in-house call center function.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Outbound Calling
- Make outbound calls to prospective students/customers from the provided database.
- Generate leads and explain courses/services offered by the organization.
- Fix appointments for counsellors or schedule walk-ins.
2. Inbound Call Handling
- Attend incoming calls and respond to queries regarding courses, fees, batches, schedules, etc.
- Provide accurate and complete information to callers.
- Transfer calls to the concerned department, if required.
3. Lead Management
- Maintain and update lead details in CRM/software.
- Follow up regularly with interested prospects.
- Track status of leads (interested, not interested, follow-up, converted, etc.).
4. Conversion Support
- Coordinate with the admissions/sales team for conversion.
- Share daily calling reports and conversion updates.
- Achieve individual and team targets.
5. Data & Reporting
- Maintain daily call reports (DCR).
- Submit performance reports to reporting manager.
- Ensure proper documentation of conversations.
6. Customer Relationship Management
- Build positive rapport with prospects and existing customers.
- Address concerns politely and professionally.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication. Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and persuasively with students and stakeholders.
- Multitasking Abilities. Capable of handling multiple tasks such as calling, follow-ups, data entry, and coordination efficiently.
- Teamwork and Collaboration. Works effectively within a team environment and coordinates well with peers and other departments to achieve common goals.
Education and Experience
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in any discipline (Education, Marketing, or related field preferred).
- 12 years of experience in student counselling, admissions, education sales, or a related customer-facing role. Role & responsibilities
