Job summary

EXST Coffee Lab in Okhla, Delhi, is seeking a dedicated bakery/kitchen team member to develop a focused menu of baked and savory bites. You will ensure consistent quality, plate items for guests, and manage prep schedules, stock, and wastage while maintaining hygiene and FSSAI standards.

An interest in coffee pairing is a plus. Ideal candidates hold a bakery/pastry diploma or certificate (or up to 1 year of bakery/kitchen experience) and have some savory baking experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from a bakery or pastry school, or up to 1 year of experience in a bakery, patisserie, or café kitchen.
• Savory bakes experience (quiches, savory tarts, filled pastries, focaccia, or similar) preferred.

EXST is a specialty coffee experience center in Okhla, Delhi. We’re building a space where people can explore coffee at their own pace: taste different origins and brews, work out what they actually like, and leave knowing a little more than when they walked in. Just good coffee, honest guidance, and room to find your own palate.

What we’re looking for

• A diploma or certificate from a bakery or pastry school, or up to 1 year of experience in a bakery, patisserie, or café kitchen
• Some experience with savory bakes (quiches, savory tarts, filled pastries, focaccia, or similar)
• Consistent, organised, and willing to repeat a recipe until it’s right
• Open to feedback and keen to learn

Good to have

• An interest in coffee, or a curiosity to learn how flavours pair with it
• An internship or stage at a bakery, café, or hotel kitchen
• A portfolio or Instagram showing your work
