Job summary

Anyday Cafe' Gurgaon, by Bright Hospitality Private Limited, invites applications for Pastry & Bakery Chef positions. The roles cover all positions in the pastry and bakery team at our Gurgaon site.

Responsibilities include preparing pastries, maintaining hygiene, and assisting senior chefs. The right candidate has a culinary diploma, up to 2 years’ branded restaurant experience, and can work long hours in a kitchen.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in a branded restaurant or hotel.
• Innovative mindset with knowledge of menu planning and costing; ability to work under pressure and long hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes and desserts per standard recipes.
• Assist in daily pastry and bakery production under senior chefs.
• Ensure consistency in taste, portioning and presentation.
• Maintain hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards (FSSAI).
• Follow kitchen SOPs, FIFO, proper storage and labeling procedures.
• Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or spoilage.
• Minimise wastage through proper portion control and handling.
• Support basic training of junior staff when required.
• Perform duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or senior team members.
