Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Support Engineer with 2–4 years of experience to join our team at PSG Global Solutions India. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about backend systems, APIs, and scalable infrastructure, who thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will focus on building and supporting robust backend services, optimizing databases, implementing caching/queue systems, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to cloud infrastructure and container orchestration is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend APIs and services.
• Perform database tuning, indexing, and query optimization for performance.
• Implement caching, queuing, and messaging systems to improve system efficiency.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Monitor backend systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps teams to integrate APIs.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding best practices.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployment and containerized applications (if applicable).

Qualifications & Required Skills

• 2–4 years of experience in backend development or backend support roles.
• Strong experience with scalable APIs and backend frameworks.
• Proficient in database design, tuning, and query optimization.
• Knowledge of caching strategies, queues, and messaging systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple backend tasks efficiently.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
