Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst with 2–5 years of hands-on experience to join our IT team at PSG Global Solutions India. This role is aligned to a US-based project, requiring strong knowledge of cybersecurity tools, incident response, and compliance frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating security threats while ensuring compliance with global standards. You will work closely with internal IT and global stakeholders to maintain a secure, compliant, and resilient IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events, alerts, and incidents across firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Conduct incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and maintain vulnerability assessment and remediation processes.
• Ensure compliance with security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and SOC 2.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and awareness.
• Support audit processes, risk assessments, and periodic security reviews.
• Document incident reports, procedures, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Provide after-hours or on-call support as required for security incidents.

Qualifications & Required Skills

• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, or incident response.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management systems.
• Experience working in or supporting US-based clients or projects.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and controls (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory but an Advantage)

• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) – for experienced candidates
• Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer)
