Job summary

Aurexion, Inc. is building an AI-native omnichannel platform and seeks a skilled Backend Developer with Node.js expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. You will work on RESTful APIs, real-time communication, and data flows.

You will collaborate with frontend and product teams, implement event-driven architectures with Kafka and Socket.IO, optimize PostgreSQL/Redis, and ensure security and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of backend experience with Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.

We’re building an AI-native omnichannel platform to transform how businesses engage with customers. Our platform integrates voice, SMS, email, and chat to deliver seamless customer interactions. We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in Node.js and real-time communication technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and intelligent backend systems.

Responsibilities:

• Build RESTful APIs using Node.js
• Develop and manage cron jobs in Node.js
• Optimize PostgreSQL and Redis data flow
• Work with Node.js using TypeORM and TypeScript
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Socket.IO, and Apache Kafka
• Follow clean architecture principles
• Implement and manage real-time communication using sockets
• Design scalable event-driven systems for high concurrency
• Optimize system performance, queuing, and resource handling
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and engineering teams
• Ensure platform scalability, security, and performance
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Stay updated with modern backend and real-time communication technologies

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in Node.js
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka preferred)
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis
• Experience with TypeORM and TypeScript
• Understanding of scalable system design and concurrency handling
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
