You will work on event-driven architectures, database tuning, and security best practices while collaborating with front-end teams and incident response processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years as backend/full-stack dev focused on Node.js.
• Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate production Node.js services in TypeScript.
• Lead technical design and incident response for production services.
• Ensure optimal central DB performance and fast front-end responses.
• Collaborate with front-end teams for integration of components.
• Implement security, observability, and data protection measures.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

• Extensive experience designing, building, and operating production Node.js services in TypeScript


• Deep understanding of the Node.js runtime, including event-loop behavior, profiling, and performance tuning


• Experience designing event-driven systems with Kafka: partitioning, ordering guarantees, idempotent processing, dead-letter queues


• Experience with zero-downtime database schema migrations and query/connection-pool tuning under load


• Experience with distributed tracing and observability (OpenTelemetry, Datadog), including defining SLOs and error budgets


• Strong knowledge of API security, including OWASP API Top 10 and OAuth2/OIDC flows


• Experience leading technical design and incident response for services in production


• Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable,and efficient code.


• Developing and maintaining all server-side network components.


• Ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.

Collaboration and Support Responsibilities

• Collaboratingwith front-end developers on the integration ofelements.


• Designingcustomer-facing UI and back-end services for various businessprocesses.


• Implementingeffective security protocols, data protection measures, andstorage solutions.


• Runningdiagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technicalsupport.


• DocumentingNode.js processes, including database schemas, as well aspreparing reports.


• Recommendingand implementing improvements to processes andtechnologies.


• Keepinginformed of advancements in the field of Node.jsdevelopment.

Qualifications

• Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relatedfield.


• 5+ years ofexperience as a backend or full-stack developer with a focuson Node.js.


• Strongknowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js, withexperience in building RESTful APIs. Familiarity withframeworks such as Express.js or Koa.


• Experiencewith databases (SQL and NoSQL), such as PostgreSQL,MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.


• Understandingof server-side templating languages, front-endtechnologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and frameworks(React, Angular, or Vue.js). Knowledge of versioncontrol systems, such as Git.


• Experiencewith cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) andcontainerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Strongproblem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment.
