Job summary

Brandsmashers Tech is hiring a backend/API engineer to design and build the services powering client products, including authentication, payments and background jobs. You will develop REST and GraphQL APIs in Node.js/TypeScript and model data in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, ensuring fast queries and reliable integrations.

The role involves implementing secure API access, queues, caching with Redis, and containerized workflows with Docker.

Qualifications

• Strong Node.js and TypeScript experience with Express or NestJS.
• Solid SQL skills and relational schema design.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization and API security.
• Experience with queues, caching (Redis) and asynchronous processing.
• Familiarity with Docker and Git workflows.
