Job summary

Zippee Delivery in Gurgaon is hiring Backend Software Engineers to build and scale our tech platform from the ground up. This in-person role offers high ownership and direct impact in a fast-growing VC-backed startup.

You'll design robust backend services, collaborate with product and operations, and own scalable APIs and data systems. A 0-1 opportunity to work closely with leadership awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a top or accredited college.
• 1-2 years of core backend experience at a SaaS/B2B tech company or startup.
• Working knowledge of Python, RESTful APIs, RDBMS, Django, MySQL, K8S and AWS concepts.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills & ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for technology and a desire to hustle it out in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Description:

• We're looking for talented Software Engineers (Backend) in our Engineering team to build Zippee's tech platform from the ground up.
• An incredible 0-1 opportunity to work directly with leadership & drive meaningful impact at a high-growth VC-backed quick commerce startup.
• This is a high-pressure, zero-handholding, unstructured environment, where no task is beneath you if it moves the mission forward. We move fast, we set a high bar, and we’re not for everyone.
• This is an in-person role (M-F office | Saturday remote) at our Gurgaon HQ.

What you will do:

• As a backend developer at our fast-growing startup, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust backend services that power our core products and operations. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver scalable APIs and data systems, troubleshoot technical challenges, and continuously improve reliability and performance.
