Job summary

Talentica is seeking a Backend Developer- NodeJS Developer to design and build scalable cloud-native platforms. You will work on RESTful microservices, AWS infrastructure, and full-stack elements using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.

Collaborate across APAC/EMEA/US, implement CI/CD, test automation, and security best practices, while mentoring peers. Bangalore-based role requiring 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of strong hands-on software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js and RESTful microservices.
• Good expertise in JavaScript and React for UI development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based application development.
• Ability to design scalable, highly available, resilient, and cost-effective applications.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of API security and data encryption.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop the O2P platform, including web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Build scalable, secure, and cost-effective applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, and RDS.
• Develop RESTful microservices using Node.js and build responsive user interfaces using React and JavaScript.
• Evaluate and adopt appropriate technologies and tools to solve complex business and technical problems.
• Follow strong quality and DevOps practices to build maintainable, extensible, and resilient solutions.
• Write comprehensive unit tests and contribute to test automation.
• Implement and support CI/CD, observability, reliability, and operational excellence practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand use cases and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Consider upstream and downstream system impacts when designing and implementing solutions.
• Support applications in production and contribute to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with and mentor team members across APAC, EMEA, and the US.
