Job summary

Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd (MGS) is seeking an Assistant Vice President – Business Analyst for a FLEXCUBE implementation project. You will coordinate user-side data migration activities, analyze data, cleanse, map and validate data, and ensure readiness for go-live in a banking environment.

The role requires collaboration with business users, IT teams and vendors, and involves data reconciliation, UAT support and cutover preparation to ensure a smooth migration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business analysis within a banking domain.
• Hands-on data migration activities for FLEXCUBE implementations or migrations.
• Experience with data cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation and UAT support.

Responsibilities

• Lead user-side data migration activities for FLEXCUBE projects.
• Review source/target data, definitions, and migration rules from business perspective.
• Assist data cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation.
• Coordinate issue resolution with business users, IT and vendors.
• Support migration testing, UAT and business validation of migrated data.
• Coordinate migration readiness activities, rehearsals and cutover prep.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of migrated data and obtain business sign-off.
• Assist with post-go-live data issue resolution and stabilization.
• Prepare and maintain issue logs and status updates.

Open Position:

• Assistant Vice President (AVP) (Total experience: 1215 years, including a minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience in the banking domain)

Role Summary

The Business Analyst will participate in a FLEXCUBE implementation project from the business user side.

The Assistant Vice President will be responsible for coordinating and executing user-side data migration activities, including data analysis, data cleansing, data mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and migration testing. The role will work closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors to ensure the accurate migration of business data into FLEXCUBE and business readiness for go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate user-side data migration activities for a FLEXCUBE implementation project.
• Review and validate source data, target data, data definitions, and migration rules from a business perspective.
• Support data cleansing, data mapping, data validation, and data reconciliation activities.
• Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate issue resolution with business users, IT teams, and vendors.
• Support migration testing, UAT, and business validation of migrated data.
• Coordinate business-side migration readiness activities, including migration rehearsals and cutover preparation.
• Confirm the completeness and accuracy of migrated data and support business sign-off.
• Assist with post-go-live data issue resolution and stabilization activities.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, issue logs, action trackers and status updates.

Required Experience

• 1015 years of overall experience, including a minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience in banking.
• Hands-on experience in user-side data migration activities within a FLEXCUBE implementation, upgrade, or migration project.
• Experience in data analysis, data cleansing, data mapping, data validation, reconciliation, or migration testing.
• Experience working with business users, data owners, IT teams, and vendors to resolve data migration issues.
• Experience supporting UAT, business validation, migration readiness, or go-live activities.
• Banking operations experience in CASA/deposits domain.

Required Skills
