Job summary

Mizuho Global Services Pvt Ltd (MGS) invites applications for the Global Loan Operation - Analyst role in Chennai, India. The position is based in the Chennai Perungudi World Trade Centre with an afternoon shift from 1.30 pm to 10.15 pm, five days a week.

Immediate joiners to 15 days are preferred. Key duties include agency loan servicing, processing transactions in ACBS/Loan IQ, cash movements, reconciliations, data maintenance, and governance tasks.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Agency Loans and agent bank role.
• Familiarity with lifecycle events: draw downs, repayments, rollovers, rate settings, interest, fees.
• Working knowledge of loan systems (ACBS/Loan IQ).
• Compliant with SOPs, SLAs, and maker-checker controls.

Responsibilities

• Agency Loan Servicing and Transaction Processing, including input and validation in loan systems.
• Process draw downs, repayments, prepayments, rollovers, rate settings, interest, and fees.
• Support lender allocation calculations and borrower/lender notices.
• Assist deal setup, data maintenance, and document updates.
• Support cash movements and non-STP payments within cut-offs.
• Respond to routine queries within timelines.

Job Responsibility: -

1. Agency Loan Servicing and Transaction Processing

• Support validation and input of Agency Loan transactions in loan systems such as ACBS / Loan IQ.
• Assist with draw downs, repayments, prepayments, rollovers, rate settings, interest, and fee processing.
• Support lender allocation calculations and preparation of borrower and lender notices using approved templates.
• Assist with deal and facility setup, static data maintenance, and document updates based on authorized instructions.
• Support cash movement requests and non-STP payment processing under guidance and within applicable cut-offs.
• Acknowledge and respond to routine internal and external queries within agreed timelines.

2. Notice, Cash, and Reconciliation Management

• Monitor incoming borrower and lender communications and update control logs.
• Escalate missing instructions, funds, notices, approvals, or data discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with cash, principal, interest, fee, and lender-share reconciliations.
• Support investigation of past dues, unapplied cash, and routine outstanding items.

3. Governance & Control

• Follow SOPs, maker-checker controls, approval requirements, and authorization limits.
• Maintain complete transaction evidence, checklists, correspondence, and audit trails.
• Submit transactions for review and approval within agreed timelines.
• Provide accurate end-of-day status for assigned queues and outstanding items.
• Complete mandatory training and actively build Agency Loan product and process knowledge.

Mandate skills and knowledge: -

• Basic understanding of Agency Loans and the role of an agent bank.
• Awareness of core lifecycle events including draw downs, repayments, rollovers, rate settings, interest, and fees.
• Working knowledge of approved loan systems, including ACBS / Loan IQ where applicable.
• Understanding of SOPs, SLAs, maker-checker controls, and operational cut-offs.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to follow procedures and authorized instructions precisely.
• Basic numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to escape issues promptly and work effectively within a team.

Qualification:-

Bachelor of Commerce / Master of Business Administration

Experience:- Relevant 1.5 Years to 4 Years in global loan operation including agency loan, LoaniQ, syndication loan, transaction processing.
