Job summary

Airtel International LLP - Airtel Africa in Gurugram seeks an experienced Enterprise/solution Architect to lead end-to-end BSS/OSS architecture for telco enterprise services, from order management to billing. You will develop artifacts and roadmaps aligned with strategic architecture.

You will collaborate with business and IT teams, review requirements, present designs in Architecture Review Board, and drive implementation across SOA, API management, and modern platforms.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience as an enterprise/solution architect covering SOA and multiple platforms.
• Deep knowledge of BSS/OSS domains including CRM, Billing, Charging and Order Management.
• Experience with B2B products such as ILL, MPLS, SDWAN, CPaaS and IoT.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM & Comms Cloud and SingleView CRM & Billing is desirable.
• Proficient in DevOps methodologies and guiding bespoke product development.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end solutions across BSS/OSS from lead to billing.
• Develop and maintain architecture artifacts: context diagrams, data flows, deployment models.
• Present architectural solutions for Architecture Review Board approval.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and development teams on system impacts.
• Drive alignment with key stakeholders and coordinate with internal IT teams.
• Lead product roadmaps for native digital offerings aligned to architectural vision.
• Apply SOA, integration patterns, EDA, BPM and API management in implementations.

Job description

• Architect and design solutions across BSS/OSS systems from lead generation to customer acquisition, order management, service fulfilment, charging, rating and billing for telco enterprise business
• Design & Manage Architecture & Solution deliverables across all B2B requirements.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end architecture artifacts including but not limited to, context diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, deployment diagrams and data models across the BSS/OSS ecosystem. Recommend Optimal and viable innovative solutions that can be standardized for all 14 OpCps aligned to the long-term architectural strategy.
• Review business requirements with Business Analyst and collaborate with development teams to identify system impacts and estimates.
• Present solutions in Architecture Review Board for approval.
• Follow through architecture/ solution issues that arise throughout the software development life cycle and provide resolution.
• Collaborate and drive alignment with key business stakeholders, solution development and testing teams on architecture approach and direction.
• Co-ordinate with other internal IT teams as needed.
• Drive product roadmaps for native digital products based on business requirements and the product architectural vision.
• 14+yrs of experience as an enterprise / solution architect covering service-oriented architecture, bespoke applications, COTS encompassing several platforms and tools
• Knowledge about standard enterprise business journeys and processes needed.
• Knowledge of B2B products e.g. ILL, MPLS, SDWAN, CPaaS, IoT etc.
• Telecom BSS (CRM, Billing, Charging, Commercial & Service Order Management) applications experience is a must.
• Demonstrated ability to develop end-to-end solution based on business requirements
• Experienced in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Integration Design Patterns, Event Driven Architectures (EDA), Business Process Management (BPM), API Management
• Knowledge of Salesforce CRM & Comms Cloud, SingleView CRM & Billing and Red Hat Application Modernization Platform desirable.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodology.
• Ability to guide bespoke application and product development by extending beyond the solution domain for resolution of technical issues encountered within the implementation.
