Job summary

SHI Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru seeks an Azure Cloud Engineer to join our managed services team, providing L2 support and day‑to‑day operations for enterprise Azure environments.

You will triage incidents, manage deployments, and optimize performance across Azure PaaS and networking services. The role requires 3–5 years of experience, work‑from‑home with office visits, and shift timings 5AM to 2PM.

Qualifications

• Azure cloud experience 3–5 years

• Familiar with monitoring, alerts, and cost optimization

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support for Azure-hosted environments — triage and resolve incidents across networking, compute, storage, and application layers
• Azure Front Door — Manage and troubleshoot
• WAF policies, routing rules, custom domain and SSL configurations, and access log analysis using KQL
• App Service environments — Administer
• Deployment slots, health checks, custom domains, SSL bindings, and auto-scaling
• SSL certificate lifecycle — Manage
• Renewal, binding, and handshake/chain troubleshooting across Front Door, App Gateway, and App Service
• Azure Key Vault — Administer
• Secrets and certificate management, access policies, RBAC, and automated certificate rotation across Front Door, App Gateway, App Service, and Key Vault
• Private Networking — Configure and maintain
• VNets, subnets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, and hybrid connectivity (VPN/ExpressRoute basics)
• Storage Accounts — Administer
• RBAC and data-plane permissions, lifecycle management policies, PITR, backup configuration, and cost-driven tier management
• Azure SQL Database — Support
• Backup and restore, DTU/vCore sizing, firewall rules, and basic performance monitoring
• Application Gateway — Manage
• Backend pool health, SSL offloading, and WAF rule tuning
• Perform cost optimization — storage lifecycle policies, log data cleanup, reserved instance recommendations, and right-sizing
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights — Work with
• Write KQL queries, configure alerts, and support instrumentation reviews
