Job summary

Crescendo Global is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President – HR Operations to lead the end-to-end Hire-to-Retire HR Operations function in Chennai, with a strong focus on salary negotiation, offer management, offer release and governance, delivering a seamless candidate and employee experience.

Candidates should have 10–14 years of progressive HR experience, exposure to GCC/Shared Services or BFSI/Technology sectors, and a Master’s/MBA in HR.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the HR Operations team to build high performance culture.

• Manage compensation discussions ensuring internal parity, budget governance and cost discipline.
• Lead Hire-to-Retire journey with documentation, background checks, pre-boarding and Day-1 readiness.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, statutory requirements and internal governance.
• Drive HRMS automation and process transformation across HR workflows.
• Partner with TA, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll and business stakeholders to deliver seamless HR operations.

Requirements

• 3. Strong ownership of the offer and release stage.
• 4. Experience in reputed GCC / Shared Services, BFSI or Technology organisations is preferred.
• 5. Master’s degree / MBA in HR or related discipline.
• 6. Candidates based in Chennai within 20–22 km of the work location or willing to relocate.
