Job summary

Proficiency in Embedded C and C++, plus CAN/CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, and automotive Ethernet, is essential for integration and validation across architectures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with diagnostic protocols and AUTOSAR stacks.
• Proficiency in embedded C and C++ for automotive software.
• Familiarity with Vector tools for diagnostic testing and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic protocols: UDS, OBD-II, WWH-OBD, and CANdelaStudio.
• Work with Classic AUTOSAR diagnostic stacks: DCM and DEM.
• Calibration & Tools: CANoe and DaVinci Configurator/Developer.
• Knowledge of OBD certification strategies and CARB OBD II requirements.
• Understand AUTOSAR architectures, including RTE and MCAL.
• Experience with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, and automotive Ethernet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnostic Protocols: Deep understanding of UDS (ISO 14229), OBD-II, WWH-OBD, and CANdelaStudio.
• Hands-on experience with Classic AUTOSAR Diagnostic stacks, specifically DCM (Diagnostic Communication Manager) and DEM (Diagnostic Event Manager).
• Calibration & Tools: Familiarity with Vector tools such as CANoe, and DaVinci Configurator/Developer.
• Knowledge of OBD certification strategies and legal requirements such as CARB OBD II (e.g., CCR Title 13)
• Programming Languages: Advanced proficiency in Embedded C and C++.
• Strong understanding of AUTOSAR architectures, including the Runtime Environment (RTE) and Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL).
• Communication Protocols: Hands-on experience with CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, and automotive Ethernet.
