Job summary

Tata Elxsi in Bengaluru is seeking a skilled automotive software engineer specializing in CAPL scripting and CANoe integration. You will work on ECU development artifacts, protocol analysis, and debugging across Ethernet, CAN, CAN FD, and related interfaces.

You will apply DS&A techniques, mentor teammates, and utilize DevOps tools to streamline builds and tests, with exposure to Adaptive AUTOSAR and cybersecurity practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with CAPL scripting for automotive ECUs and Vector CANoe.
• Proficient in CAPL (procedural and object-oriented) and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet, CAN, CAN FD, and FlexRay.
• Ability to read ECU Extract files and ARXML and work with AUTOSAR artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of communication protocols: Ethernet is must and CAN, CAN FD, FlexRay, are nice to have.

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong debugging, testing, and defect analysis skills.
• Ability to train and mentor team members on cutting-edge technologies.
• Nice-to-Have Knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR.
• Familiarity with functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity.
