Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is seeking a Sr. Tech Lead – AUTOSAR Diagnostic Expert with 8+ years of experience to lead diagnostics development and integration in automotive embedded software. You will focus on UDS-based diagnostics, DCM/DEM modules, and AUTOSAR configuration, coordinating with customers and guiding junior engineers.

The role requires hands-on AUTOSAR tools expertise, and a strong background in MCAL/BSW modules, with emphasis on quality processes and team mentoring.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of UDS ISO 14229 and AUTOSAR DCM/DEM modules.
• Hands-on AUTOSAR configuration and MCAL module experience.
• Experience with Infineon MCUs and TC3xx family.
• Familiar with AUTOSAR tools and diagnostic software development processes.
• Ability to guide teams, review work, and interact with customers on technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, configuration, integration, and debugging of AUTOSAR Diagnostics (DCM/DEM).
• Work on diagnostic communication based on UDS ISO 14229 and integrate relevant BSW/MCAL modules.
• Troubleshoot complex embedded software issues and conduct technical reviews.
• Guide the development team and interact with customers on technical topics.

Sr. Tech Lead – AUTOSAR Diagnostic Expert

Experience: 8+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Tech Lead – AUTOSAR Diagnostic Expert with strong expertise in UDS Diagnostics, AUTOSAR DCM/DEM, BSW modules, MCAL, AUTOSAR configuration, and embedded automotive software development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development, configuration, integration, and debugging of AUTOSAR Diagnostics, with strong focus on DCM and DEM modules. Work on diagnostic communication based on UDS ISO 14229, configure and integrate relevant BSW and MCAL modules, troubleshoot complex embedded software issues, perform technical reviews, guide the development team, interact with customers on technical topics, and ensure development activities are aligned with software quality processes and project requirements.

Required Skills

Deep understanding of UDS Standard ISO 14229 and AUTOSAR DCM & DEM modules, with very good understanding of AUTOSAR modules including COM, CanTP, CANIF, NvM, BSWM, and PduR. Strong knowledge of MCAL modules such as CAN, FEE, FLS, and MCU, along with hands-on experience in AUTOSAR configuration tools. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in automotive embedded systems are required.

AUTOSAR Configuration Tools, ETAS ISOLAR (added advantage), CANoe, CANalyzer, TRACE32, GHS, GIT, SVN, ALM, UDS, DCM, DEM, COM, CanTP, CANIF, NvM, BSWM, PduR, MCAL

Hands-on experience with Infineon microcontrollers, with TC3xx experience being an added advantage. Good knowledge of ASPICE, software development processes, quality management and metrics, change and configuration management practices, and experience in team guidance, customer interaction, and technical reviews.
