Tata Elxsi, Inc. is seeking an AUTOSAR software engineer in Bengaluru to join our automotive R&D team. You will contribute across the AUTOSAR lifecycle, focusing on Embedded C SWC development, RTE concepts, and memory mapping within a classic AUTOSAR stack.

You will work with CAN, LIN, Ethernet networks and use tools like Vector DaVinci, CANoe, and TRACE32 for debugging and validation. Relevant experience and a strong grasp of MISRA C will be essential.

Qualifications

• Experience across AUTOSAR-based software lifecycle from requirements to validation.
• Hands-on Embedded C development for AUTOSAR Application Software (SWC).
• Familiarity with RTE concepts and memory mapping in AUTOSAR.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Knowledge of MISRA C guidelines and embedded coding standards.

Responsabilités

• Execute AUTOSAR-based software development across the lifecycle.
• Develop RUNNABLE entities, ports and interfaces per AUTOSAR Classic.
• Work with RTE integration and generated code interaction.
• Handle NvM, MemIf, and memory mapping concepts.
• Apply MISRA C guidelines and perform unit testing and validation.
• Utilize tools like Vector DaVinci, CANoe, and TRACE32 for development and debugging.

Key Responsibilities:

• 5-6 years of experience across the complete AUTOSAR-based software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, configuration, development, and validation.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AUTOSAR Application Software (SWC) development using hand-written Embedded C.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing Runnable entities, ports, and interfaces as per
• AUTOSAR Classic Platform methodology.
• Good understanding of RTE (Run-Time Environment) concepts, integration, and interaction with generated code.
• Experience working with AUTOSAR Memory Stack (NvM, MemIf, Fee/Ea) and memory mapping concepts.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, and basic knowledge of I2C, SPI.
• Hands-on experience with development and debugging tools such as Vector DaVinci Developer, CANoe, and Lauterbach TRACE32.
• Familiarity with MISRA C guidelines and embedded coding standards (preferred).
• Experience in unit testing, integration, and validation of AUTOSAR software components.
