Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced AUTOSAR and cybersecurity test engineer to validate ECU/vehicle systems. You will design SIL/HIL/Vehicle test architectures and lead automation efforts using Python, CAPL, CANoe/CANalyzer.

Collaborate with BSW/ASW teams, ensure regulatory and OEM cybersecurity certification readiness, and drive AI/automation adoption in testing activities.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AUTOSAR BSW testing across sensors, cameras, video, radar, and ultrasound.
• Hands-on testing of CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, and DoIP diagnostics.
• Strong knowledge of ADAS sensors (camera, video, radar, ultrasonic).
• Understand sensor data interfaces, BSW integration, AUTOSAR know-how; test architecture for SIL/HIL/Vehicle.
• Hands-on experience with HIL systems (dSPACE/Vector/ETAS).
• Strong Python programming; C/C++ preferred; experience building test frameworks and automation libraries.
• Expertise in test automation using Python, CAPL, and CANoe/CANalyzer.
• Design and execute cybersecurity test strategies per UN R155/UN R156 for ECU/vehicle validation.
• Perform TARA validation and derive security test scenarios from threats.
• Penetration testing on automotive systems to identify vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
• Validate secure communication protocols (CAN, SOME/IP, DoIP, TLS) including auth/encryption.
• Test secure boot, secure flashing, OTA updates; protect against tampering/rollback.
• Diagnostic security testing (UDS Security Access – Seed/Key) and auth checks.
• Collaborate with BSW/ASW and system teams to ensure traceability from concept to test execution.
• Use security testing tools (CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark, fuzzing tools) to enhance coverage.
• Analyze vulnerabilities; support root cause analysis and mitigation with developers.
• Prepare compliance docs, test reports, and audit evidence for OEM cybersecurity certification.
• Leadership, mentoring, and driving automation/AI adoption in Test.
• CAN/LIN/FlexRay/Ethernet and restbus simulation knowledge.
• Diagnostics knowledge (UDS, XCP, DoIP).
• Log analysis, trace tools, and data validation experience.
• ISO 26262, ASPICE familiarity and test documentation.
• CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab) for test automation.
• Ability to define test strategies, coverage, and KPIs.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative and technically capable in vehicle test validation.
• AI/ML and GenAI awareness, with Python knowledge.

• Strong experience in AUTOSAR BSW testing (with sensors camera, video, radar, ultrasonic), including MCAL, ECU Abstraction, OS, and Services layers.
• Hands-on testing of communication protocols – CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay, and diagnostics (UDS/DoIP).
• Strong knowledge of ADAS sensors (camera, video, radar, ultrasonic).
• Good understanding of sensor data interfaces, BSW integration, AUTOSAR know-how, Test architecture design for System Test (SIL/HIL/Vehicle).

• Test and verify secure boot, secure flashing, and OTA update mechanisms, ensuring protection against tampering and rollback attacks.
• Perform diagnostic security testing (UDS Security Access – Seed/Key, authentication) and validate protection against unauthorized access.
• Work closely with BSW, ASW, and system teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements traceability from concept to test execution.
