Job summary

Tata AutoComp invites a results‑driven engineer to join our Lighting and Vision Systems team in Pune. The role focuses on lighting components (forward, rear, signal) and vision system components such as IRVM and glass.

You will lead hands‑on design activities for connectors, pinouts, PCBs, LEDs and wiring harness selection, define validation plans for EE components, and drive PPAP and FMEA processes with co‑design suppliers and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Lighting and Vision Systems and components.
• Hands‑on experience in connector design, pinouts, PCB, LED, wiring harness selection.
• Experience defining validation plans for EE components.
• Ability to interact with co-design suppliers and cross‑functional teams.

• Lead design activities for lighting and vision components.

• Strong experience in Lighting and Vision System and components
• Vision components like IRVM, Glass, Cowl screen components
• Lighting Components like Forward Lighting, Rear lighting and Signal Lighting
• Strong hands‑on experience in connector design / Pinouts / PCB / LED / Wiring harness selection criteria
• Strong hands‑on experience in defining validation plan for EE components
• Effective interactions with Co-design supplier to ensure Vehicle Functional Objectives are achieved.
• Effective interaction with cross functional teams on issue resolutions.
• Good leadership with team building skills.
• Strong knowledge on Technical review, PPAP, Part testing, FMEA, Design kick-off and Design approval.
