Job summary

Dutech Systems in Hyderabad, India is seeking an experienced embedded hardware design engineer to validate hardware before Start of Production and contribute to PCB layout and schematic reviews.

The role requires 5-10 years of embedded hardware development experience, preferably in automotive, with hands-on proficiency in Altium, LTSpice, CAN/LIN/SPI/I2C, and scripting (Python, Bash). You will collaborate with teams in France HQ and document test plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or Mechatronics.
• 5-10 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development, automotive preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware and design validation before Start of Production.
• Participate in schematic and PCB layout design reviews.
• Contribute to worst‑case and derating analyses per IPC‑9592.
• Altium schematic design and LTSpice simulations for prototypes.
• Modify design for feature additions and document changes.
• Collaborate with France HQ hardware team to define functionalities.
• Plan, execute and document tests using PLM/Polarion.
• Work with CAN interfaces and related testing tools.
• Proficiency in Python, Arduino or Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of CAN/LIN/SPI/I2C protocols and EMC basics.

Job description

Total Years of Experience- (5-10 years)

Key responsibilities

• Perform Hardware product validation and design validation before Start of Production
• Participate to design reviews including Schematic and PCB layout
• Contribute to worst-case and derating analysis with design engineering team according to IPC-9592
• Altium schematic design, LTSPICE simulation, PCB layout design of unitary prototypes
• Modify design considering feature additions
• Closely work with the hardware team in France Headquarter to define the functionalities
• Experience with test planning, specification, execution and documentation (PLM tool, Polarion)
• Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks: CAN interfaces
• Familiar with scripting languages such as Python, Arduino, Bash, or similar
• Understanding of communication protocols like CAN, LIN, SPI, I2C
• Basic knowledge of EMC and radio frequency electricity

Education and Knowledge Required

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics
• 5-10 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development. Automotive is preferred.
