Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Schematic Design Engineer with strong expertise in automotive and/or IoT embedded hardware. Experience with EV / power electronics / Infotainment / Cluster design a plus. The candidate will be responsible for designing and validating hardware schematics for automotive applications. Candidate must have sound knowledge and understanding of electronics hardware design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop schematics for electronic products based on microprocessors and microcontrollers.
• Create solutions utilizing power subsystems, DDR3/4, NAND, USB, QSPI, eMMC/SD, CAN, MIPI, LVDS, RGB interfaces.
• Proven experience with designs involving cellular and GNSS communications.
• Ensure proper power architecture, signal integrity, grounding strategy, and power sequencing at schematic level.
• Ensure compliance with automotive electrical standards to meet regulatory compliances for EMI/EMC and endurance.
• Perform component selection, derating calculations, and prepare detailed BOM.
• Coordinate with PCB layout, firmware, mechanical, and testing teams for design validation.
• Ensure EMI/EMC considerations at schematic stage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work toward long-term goals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in automotive / IOT / infotainment/cluster schematic hardware design.
• Strong expertise in automotive schematics.
• Hands-on experience with 4G LTE, CAN, LIN, UART, DDR3/4, NAND, MIPI, LVDS, RGB and high-speed interfaces.
• Strong understanding of EMI/EMC, signal integrity, PI and automotive standards.
• Experience in schematic design tools like Altium (Mandatory experience) / OrCAD / similar EDA tools
