Job summary

QualityAI is seeking an Automation Test Lead to drive both manual and automated testing initiatives in India. You will design test scenarios, perform exploratory and regression tests, and ensure features meet user and business expectations.

The role combines hands-on Playwright automation with CI/CD practices and collaboration with product and development teams. Candidates should be strong in JavaScript/TypeScript, API testing, and have experience with JUnit/TestNG and build tools like

Qualifications

• Strong manual testing and test design capabilities.
• Hands-on Playwright automation in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• API testing experience with automation and tooling.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/Postgres).

Automation Test Lead

Date: 28 Sept 2026 Company: QualityAI Country/Region: IN Manual Testing (30%) 1. Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing 2. Design detailed test scenarios and test cases 3. Validate new features from a user and business perspective 4. Identify edge cases and uncover defects early 5. Collaborate with product and dev teams to clarify requirements Automation Testing (70%) 1. Build and maintain E2E and API automation using Playwright 2. Support CI/CD integration and parallel execution 3. Demo stories to business stakeholders Required Skills: 1. Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery concepts 2. Knowledge of implementing test code within a continuous integration and delivery pipeline using one of the CI tools (Jenkins) 3. Strong experience in manual testing (test design, exploratory testing) 4. Hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) 5. Strong programming skills in JavaScript / TypeScript 6. Experience with API testing 7. Experience with JUnit, TestNG, Mock objects. 8. Experience with Eclipse, Maven, Make files and Ant build scripts. 9. Knowledge of MySQL or Postgres.
