Job summary

Shaily Engineering Plastics seeks a seasoned industrial automation leader to drive concept development, equipment selection, FAT/SAT, installation, and handover for high-volume manufacturing environments.

You will support automated processes, improve OEE, cycle time, and yield, and lead troubleshooting, CAPA, and audit readiness while building automation capability within maintenance and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, mechatronics, mechanical, automation, instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
• 8 - 12 years of industrial automation experience, including 35 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, precision assembly, automotive, electronics, or other high-volume regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, servo systems, robotics, vision inspection, sensors, SCADA/MES interfaces, traceability, machine safety, and automated assembly systems.
• Experience with equipment qualification, validation support, ISO 13485, GMP, and regulated manufacturing documentation

Responsibilities

• Support automated processes, including component feeding, automated printing, sub-assembly, and inspection.
• Ensure equipment meets product, process, quality, validation, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive improvement in OEE, cycle time, yield, scrap, downtime, automation reliability, and production scalability.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, change control support, CAPA support, and audit readiness for automation systems.
• Build automation capability within maintenance and production teams
