The Automation Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving automated systems and equipment to ensure maximum uptime, efficiency, and safety. The role supports production by minimizing downtime and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in automation and control systems.
Experience / Qualifications
- Experience in PLC and HMI / control circuit / robots / servo drive & servo
- MOTOR / STEPPER MOTOR & DRIVE / VFD / TROUBLE SHOOTING
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Basic knowledge of vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, OPT, Luster)
- Experience in sensor types (proximity, photoelectric, fiber optical) and troubleshooting
- Basic knowledge of 2D scanner QR & barcode
- Experience on load cell, weighing scale, and controller
- Experience in handling glue dispenser & laser
- Welding, engraving, soldering
- Knowledge of solenoid valve, pneumatic cylinders
- Knowledge of NPI and machine bringup procedure
- Knowledge of ball screw, coupling, machine alignment
- Skills: sensors, servo, barcode, PLC, troubleshooting
