Job summary

Tata Electronics Limited is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a Mechatronics/Robotics background and 15+ years of experience to design and implement automated systems. You will develop DFMs, validate automation workflows, and collaborate with suppliers to deliver scalable automation projects that meet safety and productivity standards.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in PLC programming and robotics, and the ability to create comprehensive training and support materials

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineer with a Mechatronics/Robotics background and 15+ years of experience.
• Experience designing automated systems and processes.
• Strong knowledge of electronics/hardware and software integration.
• Ability to develop documentation, training materials, and support guides.
• Experience in testing and validating automation scripts and workflows.
• Awareness of safety, functionality and productivity standards.
• Experience liaising with suppliers and coordinating automation projects.
• Knowledge of 8D problem solving reports and costing basics.

• Able to Design and Develop automated systems and processes. Involve in creating DFM in line with customer requirement
• Experience with PLC programming and robotic systems and Strong understanding of Electronics/ Hardware and software

• In-depth knowledge and Experience in preparing 8D reports
• Experience in liaising with suppliers in India and abroad and co-ordinate with customer on Automation projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable automation solutions
• Knowledge of costing
