Job summary

Process Technix in Pune district, Maharashtra, seeks an experienced Engineer to lead industrial automation and control system design for large-scale plants. The role covers architecture development, PLC programming across Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen-Bradley platforms, and SCADA/HMI configuration.

You will collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams, perform FAT/SAT with clients, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering is required.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in industrial automation and control system design.

Responsibilities

• System design for control architectures, I/O lists, sensors/actuators selection.
• Design electrical schematics, PLC panels, and wiring diagrams using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Select PLC, DCS, and SCADA hardware; write control logic and HMI screens.
• Configure Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP communication protocols.
• Develop PLC programs for Siemens, Mitsubishi, and Allen-Bradley systems.
• Design SCADA/HMI screens and alarms (WinCC, FactoryTalk View, GT Works3).
• Produce P&ID markups, cause-effect diagrams, design specs, test procedures.
• Lead FAT/SAT testing with clients and mentor junior engineers.

Role & responsibilities

• System Design: Create control system architectures, I/O lists, selection of sensors/actuators and network layouts for industrial plants.
• Design Control Panels: Create electrical schematics, PLC panel layouts, and I/O wiring diagrams using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
• Hardware & Software: Select PLC, DCS, and SCADA hardware and write control logic and HMI screens.
• Integration: Configure industrial communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP.
• Program PLCs: Develop complex logic for Siemens (S7-1200/1500, TIA Portal), Mitsubishi (MELSEC, GX Works3), and Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix, Studio 5000).
• Configure SCADA/HMI: Design screens and alarms for Siemens WinCC, FactoryTalk View, or GT Works3
• Documentation: Produce P&ID markups, cause-and-effect diagrams, functional design specs, and test procedures.
• Testing: Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) with clients.
• Project Support: Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: 6 to 8 years in industrial automation and control system design.
