Job summary

QualityKiosk Technologies seeks an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web, mobile, and API applications in an Agile environment.

You will build scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Appium, and Playwright, and create robust automation for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing. API testing with Postman/Rest Assured and CI/CD integration are key responsibilities.

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Build and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Appium, and Playwright.
• Develop robust automation solutions for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, test suites, and test data.
• Perform API testing and automation using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Identify, locate, and interact with complex web elements using Selenium and Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Analyze test execution results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed defect reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, coding standards, and testing processes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and reporting.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automation Engineer with expertise in Java, Selenium, Appium, Playwright, API Testing, and Test Automation Framework Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for web, mobile, and API applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java Programming and Object-Oriented Programming concepts.


• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.


• Experience with Playwright for modern web application testing.


• Experience with Appium for mobile automation (Android/iOS).


• Strong understanding of Web Elements, Locators, XPath, CSS Selectors, and DOM structure.


• Experience in API Testing and Automation using REST APIs.


• Good knowledge of Test Automation Framework Design (Hybrid, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Page Object Model).


• Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Maven, or Gradle.


• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar CI/CD tools.


• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
