Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an automation engineer to lead process logic development in PLCs, design control panels and HMI/SCADA interfaces, and ensure regulatory compliance with IQ/OQ/DQ documentation. The role includes site installation, commissioning, vendor coordination, and ongoing customer support.

Responsibilities cover panel design, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and system architecture, along with ensuring PID control and handshake signals with customer equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in PLC/SCADA automation design and commissioning.
• Knowledge of DQ/IQ/OQ documentation for 21 CFR compliance.
• Ability to prepare IO lists, BOMs and AutoCAD drawings for control panels.
• Vendor selection and negotiation for automation components.

Responsibilities

• Develop process logic in PLC and prepare IO lists and BOMs for control panels.
• Select PLCs, Cards, HMIs, VFDS and field instruments per customer needs.
• Design PLC panels, PID panels and MCC panels; design HMI/SCADA screens with P&ID references.
• Develop alarms, batch, and audit reports for regulatory compliance.
• Ensure I/O testing and prepare DQ/IQ/OQ documentation.
• Coordinate with electrical team to complete electrical work.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings of control panels GA, wiring, loop diagrams, system architecture.
• Ensure PID loop programming of PLC and handshake signals with customer equipment.
• Site installation and commissioning for process performance and automation aspects.
• Provide online support to customer and update status reports.

Job description

• To be responsible for Process Logic development in PLC and preparation of electrical drawings. To prepare IO list and BOM for the control panel.
• To select of PLCs, Cards, HMI’s, VFD’s and field instruments as per customer requirement.
• To design the PLC panels, PID panels and MCC panels. To design HMI and SCADA screens reference with available P & ID.
• To develop alarm, batch, and Audit reports to compliance 21 CFR.
• To ensure the I/O testing and preparation of DQ, IQ, OQ documentation.
• To select vendors related to Automation & involve into negotiation with supplier.
• To work & ensure the testing of panels & ensure Instruments calibrations.
• To co-ordinate with electrical team to complete electrical work.
• To prepare auto CAD drawing of multiple Control panel GA, wiring diagram, loop diagram, system architecture.
• To ensure PID loop programming of PLC.
• To be responsible for finalising/developing handshake signals with upstream and downstream Customers equipment’s.
• To be responsible for site installation and Commissioning from all perspective of process performance of all equipments & also the from the automation perspective.
• To provide online support to customer as and when required.
