Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a skilled Automation PLC Engineer in Vadodara to drive process logic development, design of control panels and HMI/SCADA screens, and ensure documentation and testing aligned with industry standards. The role includes coordinating electrical work, commissioning, and post-sale support.

The candidate will select appropriate PLCs and field devices, create AutoCAD drawings, program PID loops, and develop handshake with customer equipment, while ensuring on-site

Qualifications

To be responsible for Process Logic development in PLC and preparation of electrical drawings; prepare IO list and BOM for the control panel.
To select PLCs, Cards, HMIs, VFDs and field instruments as per customer requirement.
To design PLC panels, PID panels and MCC panels; design HMI and SCADA screens referencing available P&ID.
To develop alarm, batch, and Audit reports to comply with 21 CFR.
To ensure I/O testing and preparation of DQ, IQ, OQ documentation.
To select vendors related to automation and negotiate with suppliers.
To test panels and ensure instrument calibrations.
To coordinate with the electrical team to complete electrical work.
To prepare AutoCAD drawings of control panel GA, wiring diagram, loop diagram, and system architecture.
To ensure PID loop programming of PLC.
To finalize/develop handshake signals with upstream and downstream customer equipment.
To be responsible for site installation and commissioning from process and automation perspectives.
To provide online support to customers as required.
To ensure timely updating of status reports to manager.
PLC and SCADA hardware – SIEMENS, AB

Responsibilities

Develop PLC-based process logic and create electrical drawings for control panels.
Select appropriate PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and field instruments per customer needs.
Design PLC, PID, and MCC panels; create HMI/SCADA references using P&ID.
Develop alarms, batch processing, and audit reports to meet compliance.
Perform IO testing and document DQ/IQ/OQ procedures.
Source automation vendors and negotiate supplier terms.
Test panels and calibrate instruments to specification.
Coordinate with electrical team to complete wiring and electrical tasks.
Create AutoCAD GA drawings, wiring, loop diagrams, and system architecture.
Program PID loops in PLCs.
Develop handshake schemes with upstream/downstream equipment.
Oversee site installation and commissioning from performance and automation angles.
Provide remote/online support to customers as needed.
Keep management informed with timely status reports.
Handle PLC and SCADA hardware from Siemens and AB.
