Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking an automation engineer to handle PLC programming, control panel design, HMI/SCADA development, and site commissioning. The role involves coordinating with electrical teams, validating I/O, and ensuring compliance with 21 CFR.

You will prepare CAD drawings and generate alarm and batch reports while supporting customers on-line. Experience in PLC/SCADA hardware from Siemens or Allen-Bradley is preferred, with strong documentation and testing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design PLC panels, PID panels and MCC panels with reference to P&ID.
• Select PLCs, cards, HMIs, VFDs and field instruments per customer requirements.
• Develop alarm, batch and audit reports to comply with 21 CFR.
• Handle I/O testing and prepare DQ/IQ/OQ documentation.
• Coordinate with electrical team to complete electrical work.
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings of Control panel GA, wiring, loop diagrams and system architecture.
• Ensure PID loop programming of PLC.
• Finalize handshake signals with upstream/downstream equipment.
• Site installation and commissioning from process and automation perspectives.
• Provide online support to customers as required.
• Update status reports to manager.

Job description

• To be responsible for Process Logic development in PLC and preparation of electrical drawings. To prepare IO list and BOM for the control panel.
• To select of PLCs, Cards, HMI’s, VFD’s and field instruments as per customer requirement.
• To design the PLC panels, PID panels and MCC panels. To design HMI and SCADA screens reference with available P & ID.
• To develop alarm, batch, and Audit reports to compliance 21 CFR.
• To ensure the I/O testing and preparation of DQ, IQ, OQ documentation.
• To select vendors related to Automation & involve into negotiation with supplier.
• To work & ensure the testing of panels & ensure Instruments calibrations.
• To co-ordinate with electrical team to complete electrical work.
• To prepare auto CAD drawing of multiple Control panel GA, wiring diagram, loop diagram, system architecture.
• To ensure PID loop programming of PLC.
• To be responsible for finalising/developing handshake signals with upstream and downstream Customers equipment’s.
• To be responsible for site installation and Commissioning from all perspective of process performance of all equipments & also the from the automation perspective.
• To provide online support to customer as and when required.
• To ensure timely updating status reports to manager.
